So the book is done, which means I’m just kicking back and taking it easy, right?
First of all, I’m working on the next book, which is what writers do. And toying around with the book after that one. Plus I have another writing project in the works, and my blogs.
But as far as Traveler goes….
The work is far from finished. My brilliant and highly attractive editor (did I mention I’m working on another book…?) has a list of things for me to do, extras they include with the book, interview segments, etc. All of this is stuff that goes to press with or around the launch of the book.
I’ll see more of the marketing stuff as we get closer to pub date, but for now they need the stuff that they’ll be including with the book. She sent me the list with the caveat, “I know you probably want to go and collapse, but…”
And you know what?
I don’t mind a bit. This, for me, is the fun stuff. The stuff that makes me feel like a writer who’s going to have her book in bookstores in the next several months. Because I am.
Holy cow, I really am.
How much fun is that???
