You Can Run, But You Cannot Hide From THE BOOK THAT ATE MY BRAIN
And as such, I have a bunch of ideas swirling in my head at all times.
Some of them are awesome, and some are complete crap. Some lie somewhere in between and will either germinate into awesome or remind me that I’m not as awesome as I wish I was.
But I digress.
Hey, I’m a writer. I do that.
Anyway…I have this amazing book brewing in my head, but I can’t possibly take the time to write it right now. I have two other projects to finish first (not to mention my blogs, freelance work, day job and parenting responsibilities), so writing a brand new book is out of the question right now.
But that doesn’t mean I’m going to let any of this great brain-fodder go to waste, either. I created a folder for the new story, opened up a Word document and jotted down a very brief outline. Then I opened up another Word doc and threw in a few scenarios or lines of dialogue that came to me – that’ll be a running list that I add to in bits and pieces over the next months as it seeps into my brain.
But I can’t let it take over – not yet.
Someday, my dear, feral story, you will feast upon my gray matter, but not today. No, not today.
But you can gnaw a little.
