My YA fairytale retelling with a witchy twist is coming along nicely. The first draft is just about done. One week to the Selinsgrove Gelnett Book Festival! Join me and a group of talented authors and publishers as we talk about the written word and show off our books. It's going to be a great time and I hope to see you there. And that's a wrap! The last pass on the final galley pages for HEIR OF THE OTHERWORLD are complete and now it goes to formatting and print. A pub date will be announced (and arriving) very soon! I wrote a major character with autism into TRAVELER because representation matters, not just in YA books, but in every bit of life. Being an autism mom has taught me more than I could ever put into words about communication and perseverance. Today is #worldautismawarenessday and I'm asking you to be an ally, be a shoulder, be the person with some extra patience, not just today, but every day. Happy Birthday to @bella.orsini, the girl who made me a mom. I could never have imagined the wonder of you, or the amount of love a heart can hold. Presenting my favorite April Fools Day prank. Mix the cheese packet from one box of Mac & Cheese in a pitcher of hot water, add ice to cool, place in the fridge, and wait for someone to pour themselves a glass. 😜
