You-Are-Good-Enough

I spent most of the weekend beating myself up over the fact that I haven’t written more.

And then I closed up the laptop, did some Christmas baking, watched a couple of good movies, and just lived my life in real time.

When I opened the laptop again on Sunday night, the clarity was there and wrote ravenously – like my brain was starved for having not done it in so long.

JK Rowling once said that when writer’s block hits, sometimes you just have to get away and live your life for a while – and trust the fact that you’re  a writer, and it will come.

Good advice.

I’m a writer.

And I’m good enough.
