It’s official! I’ll be at NoVa TEEN Book Festival on March 30th! If you’re in the Northern Virginia/ DC area, come on out! They’ve got a fabulous lineup of authors, including my fellow Swoon Squad members, Katy Upperman (KISSING MAX HOLDEN, THE IMPOSSIBILITY OF US, HOW THE LIGHT GETS IN) and Olivia Hinebaugh (THE BIRDS, THE BEES, AND YOU AND ME).

The event is free and full of terrific workshops, as well as overflowing with books and amazing authors! I’d love to see you there!

Pitch Hashtags:

When submitting a pitch, do not favorite anyone else’s pitch. Favoriting is for agents and editors. If your pitch has been favorited, check the publisher/agent’s website for submission guidelines before submitting, and be sure to mention that you were favorited in #[WhateverPit].

Big, Big, (I MEAN REALLY BIG) News!

That’s right! Swoon has inked a deal that gives A&E exclusive access to their publishing catalog, and that, of course, includes TRAVELER and DREAMER! Nothing official yet – it’s still early – but fingers crossed! Wouldn’t you love to see a multiverse traveling Irish pirate on a television screen?  I know I would – along with a dozen or more works by my favorite Swoon authors!

So here’s to a successful new adventure – hopefully for all of us!
