Can you believe it? One week from today on February 12th, we mark one year since TRAVELER hit bookstore shelves and I became a traditionally published author. Wow, what a year it’s been since! I’ve had a book launch party, been to numerous book signings, mentored young author groups, been interviewed for blogs and podcasts, and somehow found time to write the sequel (DREAMER hits the shelves on April 10th).

I’ve learned so much in this year, from my editor, from my readers, and from the little voices inside that keep me up at night, thinking up plot twists and flooding my head with snippets of dialogue. Being a writer – a real, bona-fide, “my book is in bookstores” writer was a dream come true and a massive life journey. I’m so glad I’m continuing it and I’m hard at work on what’s coming next
